His early inspirations were varied, but when Matt heard the incendiary tone of blues guitar master Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Stratocaster, he knew where his main passion would lie.

His early inspirations were varied, but when Matt heard the incendiary tone of blues guitar master Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Stratocaster, he knew where his main passion would lie.
Matt has been a professional musician for 21 years, playing countless gigs in venues all over Ireland and beyond. Although a natural lead guitarist, Matt recently fulfilled a long held ambition by co-writing and recording an album, sparking a previously unrealised love of songwriting and composition.
He has been teaching guitar professionally for the past four years, to many students both privately and in local schools, tutoring many styles of play, including rock, blues, country, folk, Irish Traditional and jazz. He believes that everyone has the potential to achieve success on guitar, and helps his students realise this whilst carving their own style and personality into their playing.

Once Owen heard Eric Clapton's MTV Unplugged album, he knew the guitar was the instrument for him.
Many aimless trips to Reynold's Music, school band practices in Omagh CBS and a steady diet of late 90s and early 2000s guitar music later, and Owen is now sparking the same love for the 6-string in younger generations of musicians.

Owen's career in music has seen him tour all over Ireland with various bands as a singer, songwriter and guitarist and gave him a good grounding in many styles of music.
He has been teaching guitar professionally since 2014 and is a trusted tutor to his private students as well as the dozens of children he teaches in many schools in the Omagh area. Owen teaches with the philosophy that every guitarist should develop their own playing style grounded in basic guitar principles.
